Who
we are
Elevate to Fly CIC was formally incorporated on 3 November 2025, evolving from an established Nuneaton movement and wellbeing community that has flourished for over seven years, serving more than 200 active participants each month.
This transition marks an exciting new chapter — transforming a trusted, self-funded studio into a community-owned social enterprise that reinvests all income for public benefit.
Based in Galley Common, Nuneaton, Elevate to Fly operates for community benefit, not private profit. Our programmes support women, young people, families, and neurodivergent individuals across Nuneaton and the wider Midlands who face barriers to traditional fitness, education, and wellbeing opportunities.
Founded & Directed by Crystal Gibson (British-American, ADHD-diagnosed) with Amanda James (British-Caribbean performing-arts professional) as a Director, the project combines more than forty years of experience in circus-based aerial arts, dance, and community education. Together, they’ve built a vibrant, inclusive space where creativity, confidence, and connection take flight.
Our youth division, Young Flyers, already operates its own family-friendly website and programmes, complementing our inclusive wellbeing mission. With future funding, we plan to expand from four to eight weekly youth sessions, allowing more families to access after-school and weekend movement programmes including:
🌈 Orbit Kids (Ages 7–12) – Creative aerial movement and teamwork.
💫 Ascend – The Only Way Is Up! (Ages 13–17) – Confidence, leadership, and creative self-expression.
🌙 Aerial Autism (Ages 7–17) – A gentle, sensory-friendly movement class for neurodivergent young people.
By promoting inclusion, creativity, and holistic wellbeing, Elevate to Fly is helping to build a confident, connected, and compassionate community — one where movement helps everyone rise, move, and fly.

Young Flyers - The Upside Down Life
Welcome to the world of Young Flyers — a new generation of movers, dreamers, and daring doers who see the world from every angle… even upside down.
Part of the Elevate to Fly movement family, but with their own unique identity, Young Flyers is dedicated to helping kids build confidence, creativity, and strength through aerial arts, nature-based exploration, authentic play, dance games, and mindful movement — learning to live life through intention.
We don’t just flip in the air — we flip the script. Because life looks different when you’re flying free.
Young Flyers draws inspiration from Cirque du Soleil’s contemporary circus artistry, re-imagined as accessible, youth-appropriate movement training for your everyday kid.

Aerial Autism | www.YoungFlyers.co.uk
(autism spectrum programme for young people under 18)
Aerial Autism is a weekly, free-to-access programme that has operated at Fly Girls Fitness under our Young Flyers Program for over six years, designed specifically for autistic and neurodivergent children and adults. Using low-hanging aerial hammocks, gentle light, and calming sound, each session creates a safe, sensory-based environment where participants can explore movement, balance, and body awareness at their own pace.
Classes are run in small groups (typically three to four participants per teacher) to maintain a calm atmosphere and ensure individual support. The space is consistent each week, dimly lit with soft neon colour, mats, mirrors, and sensory tools, so participants always know what to expect. Music is low and adaptive; those who prefer louder sounds are encouraged to use headphones, helping them stay comfortable and in control of their sensory input.
Each child is encouraged to engage in their own way, some quietly swinging or balancing for the first time, others developing full aerial sequences over time. Achievements range from simply sitting in a hammock to mastering upright or inverted positions, helping participants improve coordination, confidence, and focus. For many, this class becomes a place of freedom and self-expression, where they can move without judgment and simply be themselves.
Parents and carers often report that the programme provides not only progress and hope but also much-needed respite care and emotional relief, especially for those raising children with high energy levels or limited access to safe play spaces.
Fly Girls Fitness, Established 2018 | |www.FlyGirlsFintess.co.uk|
Fly Girls Fitness offers an inclusive evening programme for women and non-binary adults that blends creative movement, body awareness, and expressive fitness.
Rooted in Crystal and Amanda’s decades of experience across performing arts, wellbeing, and community education, these classes use circus-inspired movement, aerial arts, and flow-based choreography to build strength, confidence, and emotional resilience.
As part of the Elevate to Fly CIC, the programme will transition existing, high-impact Fly Girls classes into a community-owned model, ensuring that all income and energy are reinvested for public benefit while creating new partnerships, outreach projects, and inclusive events.
While most sessions are designed as safe, women-led environments, a selection of classes will also welcome male participants, reflecting our commitment to equality, diversity, and shared wellbeing.
Each month introduces a new piece of movement art that encourages participants to connect with rhythm, breath, and self-expression through guided sequences that evolve over time. Sessions are trauma-informed, body-positive, and culturally sensitive, offering a space where individuals can safely explore empowerment, creativity, and community connection.
This work transforms traditional exercise into an embodied wellbeing practice, helping participants rediscover confidence, joy, and connection to their authentic selves.
Fly Girls Fitness will continue as the public-facing arm of Elevate to Fly CIC—the flagship adult-wellbeing programme that merges Fly Girls’ creative soul with the social-impact mission of the new community enterprise.
